Email Settings ::
 
Email Account Name : YourName@YourDomain.com
Incoming Mail Server (POP3) : mail.YourDomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) : mail.YourDomain.com (in some cases you must use your ISP's SMTP Server)
 
Outlook Step-By-Step instructions :
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook Express / 2000 and go to Tools , then click on Accounts .
  2. Click the Add button, then click on Mail . This will start the Internet Connection Wizard .
  3. Enter your name in the Display name field. For example John Smith . Click Next .
  4. Enter YourName@YourDomain.com  in the E-mail address field. Click Next .
  5. Enter mail.YourDomain.com  in the Incoming mail (POP3) server field.
  6. Enter mail.YourDomain.com  in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field. Click Next .
  7. Enter YourName@YourDomain.com  in the Account name field.
  8. Enter the password for YourName@YourDomain.com  in the Password field. Note : Passwords are case sensitive so it must match exactly the password you entered for this email address in your Helm Control Panel.
  9. Make sure the Remember Password box is checked. Click Next .
  10. Click the Finish button. The email account is now added and the wizard window closes, taking you back to the Internet Accounts window.
  11. In the Internet Accounts window, double click on the email account you just added. Select the Servers tab. Check the box labelled My server requires authentication . Click the Settings button.
  12. Choose the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option and click OK .
  13. Click OK .
Outlook XP Step-By-Step instructions :
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook XP and go to Tools , then click on Options .
  2. Click the Mail Setup tab, then click the Email Accounts button.
  3. Choose Add New E-Mail Account and click Next .
  4. Choose POP3 and click Next .
  5. Enter your name in the Your Name field. For example John Smith .
  6. Enter YourName@YourDomain.com  in the E-mail Address field.
  7. Enter YourName@YourDomain.com  in the User Name field.
  8. Enter the password for YourName@YourDomain.com  in the Password field. Note : Passwords are case sensitive so it must match exactly the password you entered for this email address in your Helm Control Panel.
  9. Make sure the Remember password box is checked.
  10. Enter mail.YourDomain.com  in the Incoming mail server (POP3) field.
  11. Enter mail.YourDomain.com  in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field.
  12. Click the More Settings button and select the Outgoing Server tab.
  13. Make sure the My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication box is checked.
  14. Choose the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option and click OK .
  15. Click Next then Finish . The email account is now added.
Most other e-mail programs are set up with similar settings. Please work through those settings with the above information.
